The aft cabin on HOOP DOET LEVEN is where the Dutch family – mother, father and two daughters – who operated the boat as a commercial barge lived. It is pretty much in its original condition. Mahogany paneling. Leaded glass doors. Arched, colored glass skylights. And a fireplace. Gorgeous. We use it mostly as a guest cabin. What had been the kitchen is now a bathroom. (The original “bathroom” had been a bucket down in the engine room.)
This summer, though, the aft cabin is converted to Sandra’s atelier, her art studio.
Its time for a showing, an online showing that will be followed this winter by a showing at home, of Sandra’s art of the French canals.
Tres bien!
BRAVO!

Sandra, you are a true Renaissance woman. Oo, la vache! Forwarded all to cousins who just sold their family home in Blandy and moved to Avon. After a week with many Porcheurs at Tanglewood and Williamstown immersed in art & music, we now can claim one of our own whose works should be hung in those great galleries.
Great paintings Sandra! Keep them coming!
Love all of these!!!
